Respectis is focused on the subject of gas pressure management in the gaslayer in the subsoil of Groningen. Respectis is developping a dynamic gas pressure management system, based on data from a sensor network, along with extra gas pits, and expects to deliver positive results on the deminishing of the quantity and the strength of the earthquakes. The idea of gaspressure management in the subterrain of Groningen is presented to the province government of Groningen and is rewarded with a stimulus fee to investigate if this gaspressure management idea can give any relieve. Respectis is fullfilling this feasability study in cooperation with the Hanze University in Groningen. A framework of this investigation - only available in the Dutch language - is available.

Together with other service providers for smart metering we organised a community VEDEK especially for companies which are involved with the market of smart metering data. Wil van Paridon is the chairman of VEDEK during the start-up period until 2015. Engaging result during this period is the participation and assignment of the Convenant for the overall introduction of the smart meters within households and smaller companies, together with Netbeheer Nederland e.o. Wil also participated as a member in the workgroup P4 within EDSN, the government administrative organisation ofvthe smart metering roll-out. At the beginning of 2015 Wil will be changing places with a member committee of VEDEK, Joort Zonneveld of Ealyze..

Since the start of 2014 Metsens has become a part of the Cogas organisation. For more than 45 years Cogas is the indepent network provider for energy and telecommunication services in the Eastern part of the Netherlands. Because the playing field is constantly changing, Cogas chooses to coöperate with several new partners, like Metsens for software developement in the energy market. Metsens is financially self responsible and reports on a monthly basis to Cogas. The management of Metsens is - as before - run by Wil en Iben van Paridon.
