Wim is a seasoned business professional with a major in marketing combined with excellent knowledge of different trade channels. He holds an MBA in Marketing management at the Vlerick Business School and a Master in Communication Sciences at the Catholic University Leuven where he graduated with greatest distinction with his thesis on the 'Marketing & Communication Strategies of Coca-Cola and the case-study of the 1999 Belgian product recall'. He completed his academic parcours with a Master in marketing at the Ecole de Management de Lyon. Wim has a passion for building and leveraging strong brands that he exercised during 10 years in different blue chip FMCG companies such as AB Inbev, Danone and Ferrero. After he leveraged his skills in another business being Telecoms. After this telco experienced he was appointed as marketing director Nespresso and later on became marketing director Red Bull. In both companies he developed his skills to market a premium/luxury brand with a precise and engaging content marketing strategy. Has worked both in local and benefralux context. Both In local decision making as well as in matrix organisations reporting to Global/European HQ's. After 18 year on the side of world's largest advertisers, he decided to set-up his own Strategic Communication Agency Le Loft Epicurien. With his agency he services brands and companies in the premium & luxury market ranging from Spirits Brands, Food & Wine brands, Michelin starred restaurants over interior design brands, diamond juwelers,...Next and complementary to the agency he developed his own Luxury Media Platform www.puredeluxe.be, a forerunner in digital (native) content storytelling for premium & luxury brands both national and international.
