I started as one of the L&D employees who are responsible for the practical execution of the training requests for the more than 900 internal Smals employees, mostly IT profiles.Quickly I moved away from only doing the more practical, day to day, side of organizing training and took on several new roles.The calculation, follow up and analysis of the training budget. I'm the SPOC for all the people in Smals who want to know more about learning & development data. Smals is an organization that is funded by public money so they have to follow the Belgian laws concerning public tendering. I'm the responsible for all the purchase projects of the L&D department.This starts by determining the actual training need in close cooperation with the people that demanded the training, translating this in requirements, write the official tender, send it to different vendors, conduct negotiations (if needed) and write the final report so a contract with the vendor can be made.In 2014 I was part of the team that purchased a new E-Hr system for our company. In this team I was responsible for the L&D part and gave advice to my colleagues on the law concerning public purchasing and how that impacts our project.Once the contract was signed I did the implementation of the Learning&Development module of this new tool.Currently I'm the operations manager of the Learning& Development team.

I was the training coordinator of an IT department in Euroclear. This department, of almost 400 employees, is located in Brussels, London and Paris.My main task was to do all the administration concerning training:Consulting managers in making the training plans for their team and finding the correct coursed for the need of the business and/or the employee was another part of my task.

For TRAM 41 (the 4 museums of Turnhout) I was in chare of communications: Another part of this function was changing the way the public was received in the museums and how the collection was presented. To do this on a more professional way I made two different plans and started to execute them.I was the secretary of the work group Museums of the city that decided how the daily working was handled.
