Compile cost estimates and commercial offerings for requested services. Process new service inquiries (SAP). Maintain planning of service activities and monitor capacity demand of the service team. Management and coordination of the active Service Level Agreements (SLA’s). Monitor budgeted costs and complete deliverables according to the projected milestones. Responsible for internal project transfers from sales to service, project kick-off, project planning, project execution and project closure. Coordinate scope of work, scope changes, and communicates updates to team and customer. Interacts with other departments to monitor project progress internally and externally.

Continuous improvement and Lean transformation. Improve service management systems and simplify service processes to increase serviceability. Implement computer and software updates/upgrades, execute refurbishments and retrofits. Production of service documentation such as life cycle documents, field service bulletins, maintenance checklists and technical notes. Provide input to the sales team for commercial proposals. Sharing experiences to pitch new sales opportunities and promote new service level agreements.

Day-to-day management of the service operations and provide supervision to the Field Service Engineers. Maintain planning of service activities in up-to-date schedules and in alignment with service demands. Set and manage team/individual objectives in alignment with Business Unit and site strategic targets and improvements. Conduct performance dialogs to evaluate performance and to understand personal development (needs). Support the service manager in developing metrics and KPI needed for visualizing service performance and quality.

Remote and onsite diagnostics to support international customers and Field Service Engineers. Ticket registration and issue tracking in the service management system. Perform commissioning and site acceptance to ensure operational and safety integrity of the installed system. Execute Service Level Agreement obligations such as inspections, maintenance, software updates and calibration activities.

Installation of real-time software, configuration of programmable logic controllers (PLC) and servo drive firmware & parameter configuration. Perform commissioning and factory testing to prepare a smooth FAT with customer. Installation of electric-pneumatic motion systems at customer site. Execute first-power-on and system engage. Troubleshooting the assembled or installed systems when malfunctions apply, this could be in factory or at the customer site.

Assemble simulation products at the production line, build products to a functional system using build doc's, circuit diagrams and technical drawings. Collaboratively troubleshooting the assembled systems when malfunctions apply.

Inspect and examine aircraft mechanical, hydraulic and structural systems and diagnose malfunctions. Perform routine maintenance operations, such as the replacement of aircraft components. Ensure compliance with aviation safety rules and regulations. Arrange equipment, materials and parts for repairs and general maintenance.
