Teleworld was a joint venture company of KPN and Philips Electronics active in the field of combining (automated) telephone services and media (e.g. dynamic teletext, videotex, tele voting). The company was active in 16 countries trough 34 companies (subsidiaries, affiliates). Responsible for: Legal & International Tax PlanningHuman Resources & Facility ManagementManaging director of some foreign subsidiaries in the UK, Spain, Belgium and Finland.Teleworld's ultimate patent companies (KPN, Philips) decided to withdraw from Teleworld in 1997 due to the fact they both had different priorities and interests. Therefor it was resolved to liquidate the company and to sell its subsidiaries and stakes in the affiliates. Appointed as managing director jointly with the company's CFO with the sole assignment to dismantle the company, prepare and execute the liquidation (1997-2000).In these days I also acted as Director Corporate Services of Twister Research International (1997-1998). This is a spin of of the business activities of Teleworld Holding in the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Athlon Group was in the process of changing its business model. The company changes from a conglomerate of GM Dealerships, patrol stations, car finance- and insurance services into a company focussed on car leasing. New activities that could contribute to the P&L of car leasing ware acquired while other activities had to be sold (e.g. Margas (LNG); Riva (GM USA and Opel dealerships).

Supporting (family) businesses in M&A processes and the preparation hereof.Negotiations in building alliances and joint ventures.Preparation of a new business line (strategic aid, corporate development), the selection of potential target companies and the acquisition of such companies.Assisting on other legal matters / structuring.
