With more than 35 years of experience in the film and music industry, I am a senior art director and founder of two independent media companies, Moskwood Media and Blowpipe Records. My core competencies include acquisition, promotion, distribution, production, and marketing of diverse and innovative cinema and music from around the world. My mission is to support the artistic and cultural development of the film and music scene, and to bring quality and originality to the global audience.As the senior art director at Moskwood Media, I select, negotiate, and acquire film rights from international film markets, such as Berlin, Cannes, Rotterdam, and Tehran. I also oversee the promotion and distribution of the films across various platforms, including theatrical, DVD, VOD, and streaming. I have acquired and distributed works by acclaimed filmmakers, such as Ingmar Bergman, Serge Eisenstein, Cinema Iran, Dardenne, Quay Brothers, Jan Svankmajer, and Andrei Tarkovsky. As the founder and director of Blowpipe Records, I produce, market, and sell music by bands, such as Rooie Waas, Harry Merry, Big Hare, Elektra, Minny Pops, and others. I also manage the artist relations and bookings for festivals and stages, such as Eurosonic. My skills in new media, music, and bands enable me to create and execute effective and innovative strategies to reach and engage the target audience.
