• Responsible for the successful integration of both the outsourced infrastructure services and the management organization of the former Robeco Infrastructure Division in the HP / EDS organization. The underlying contract will run for five years and has a value of EUR 110 million. It was important that the (ex-Robeco) employees stayed satisfied during the transitioning period and the agreed service levels were achieved;• Responsible for the functional management of a team of six managers process. An important activity was the coaching/management of change and uncertainty for these employees during the transition period;• Service Level Management process successfully implemented according to the EDS / HP standard. Responsible for monitoring, reporting and presentation of the service levels of overall customer service infrastructure Robeco and the internal HP organization. Together with the processmanagers a reportmodel for the transition period, developed and implemented;• During transition period acted as an acceptor for the products of the transition program as all new service management processes and new infrastructure.

• Responsible for the reorganization of the Capacity Management process which resulted in delivering a complete new process description and the implementation of the new process within Robeco. Main objective of the new process was to predict the necessary infrastructure capacity for the daily operation for a half year. This resulted in fewer incidents and lower costs by preventing unnecessary purchases of new infrastructure; • License Management successfully implemented. This provided an adequate understanding of the Robeco license position so that unnecessary costs were avoided and Robeco image was protected. Provided a direct savings of EUR 200K on IBM licenses; • A menu of infrastructure services developed and implemented at Robeco. Users knew what was delivered and the infrastructure department knew what had to be delivered within the criteria of time, money and quality; • As contract manager responsible for managing three major contracts for outsourced services in the area of workplace (Centric), WAN (Verizon) and BlackBerry / GSM (Getronics) • Responsible for monitoring the operating budget of approximately 11 million Euro of the infrastructure. 10% reduction achieved by including careful monitoring of spending hours by staff and made changes to maintenance and service contracts; • Participated in the preparation and making of the request for proposal for the proposed outsourcing of infrastructure and staff of Robeco ICT to a third party. Particulary responsible for the description of the workplace services and the cross functional services.

• As principal responsible for the successful implementation of a fully virtualized server infrastructure (approximately 350 servers). This resulted in a saving on hardware costs and management costs;• Changes implemented in the department where the system-engineers made a "turn" from techicals pur sang to more managers by outsourcing work to specialist firms;• Hierarchical responsible for a team of 22 internal and external staff with the roles IT Architect, Product Manager, Project Manager and System Engineer;• As principal responsible for the technical delivery of a new computer center for Robeco;• Responsible for the implementation of the standardization of architectural concept, according to DYA and infrastructure development, according INFRAME methodologies.

• Responsible for design and implementation of a second computer center for Robeco which could serve as disaster site if a major calamity occurred. Robeco fulfilled with this implementation a demand of the Dutch Central Bank for the continuity of the IT services of Robeco.• Responsible for design and implementation of a new workplace infrastructure concept in which the applications and data are centrally hosted instead of local on their PC’s.

Main project during that period was the implementation of a technical netwerk infrastructure for the new building of Robeco and the migration of the users and their applications and systems without unplanned downtime. Responsible for several infrastructure projects to improve the system management of the IT Services and to support the IT Staff.
