In 2018 I reached retirement age. Since then I was still active part-time as an account manager and trainer towards my successors.Now, after more than 33.5 years in this very nice profession, it is time to enjoy my retirement.As a result of the corona pandemic, a farewell has not yet taken place.Our customers / relations are still being informed by our company about my succession.I thank you all for the pleasant cooperation and confidence over many years.

As of 2015, Invaco became part of the new appraisal company "Van Ameyde Waarderingen" (Van Ameyde Valuations).Taking into account my age of 63+ it was a good time to hand over management responsibilities to a successor and to focus me in the years till my retirement on the profession of international industrial appraiser, as well as expanding our market.

INVACO, Industrial Valuation & Consultancy,As part of the well known German TÜV organization, conducts valuations of a wide variety of objects worldwide, in particular technical objects and installations. These include the petrochemical industry, tank storage, power production and distribution, shipyards, ports and port facilities, ships, heavy lift equipment and contractors’ equipment, buildings, agriculture, hotel chains and holiday parks.Valuations serve various purposes, such as: insurance, privatisation projects, assets registration, determination of book values, updating of book values and depreciation, costing systems, economic, financial and tax purposes including IFRS compliance, property tax, maintenance programs, due diligence, (forced) relocation of companies and expropriation.Recent projects include a former refinery on the Bahamas, a similar plant in the United Arab Emirates, a bio-methanol production plant in Europe, an offshore wind park, and a waste incineration plant combined with a power plant. The values of these installations range from hundreds of millions to well over a billion Euros per object.INVACO intends to further develop its niche market and has a considerable lead on its competition in the area of IFRS compliance valuations. Companies quoted on the stock exchange are required to have IFRS compliance valuations conducted and other companies are expected to follow suit. In addition, we are increasingly involved in the calculation of costs resulting from forced relocation due to zoning plan changes. A recently finalised project concerned the costing of the relocation of an entire pasta factory, whereby the cost of moving alone is estimated at 200 million Euros. We are now involved in the sale of an alcohol factory to an African enterprise. As part of our marketing strategy, aiming at further growth and extension of our distinguishing service offering, we have recently realized cooperation’s in Poland and Turkey.
