As an independent identity and security consultant I have chosen to focus on my passion for technology. After having been successful in building a team of consultants from the ground-up I feel it is time for me to return to what I love most; advise, design and implement Identity and Security solutions. I am excited to try it on my own but also have a strong network of people that can help and assist me to make any implementation a success.

As Team Lead Identity & Access Management I am responsible for all Identity & Access Management implementations of QS Solutions. This includes implementing and supporting Forefront Identity Manager (FIM) and Bhold as well as (Hybrid) cloud IAM solutions based on Azure Active Directory.On top of this I am product manager for QS Solutions own PortalTalk offering. This involves making sure the offering meets customer demands as well as doing technical pre-sales and implementations.With and innovative product like PortalTalk that builds so heavily on the rapidly developing Azure platform it is my job to stay on top of the latest development on Azure and ensure we integrate them into the Portaltalk offering directly after they are released.

As part of my Job at Oxford Computer Group I have designed and implemented Microsoft’s Forefront Identity Manager for many different customers in many different industries. Which include among others “a large Electronics manufacturer located in Eindhoven”, “one of the biggest commercial television producers in the Netherlands”, “a large legal firm located in business center of Amsterdam”, “a regional education center”, “a system integrator in Belgium” and a “a water supply company”.With most of these customers we have built long term relationships, supporting them in maintaining and adapting there Identity management solutions as their business evolves.Over the last year I have gotten some additional responsibilities, next to my job as consultant / architect. I managed the research and development department of Oxford Computer Group in the Benelux. I helped in the realization of among others; a cloud service for education, the launch of a couple of new plugin´s and products for FIM.

During this 6 month period I wrote a paper on "Compliancy & Identity Management" with ILM 2 (currently known as Forefront Identity Manager 2010). I did a study in the challenges that multinationals face when trying to comply with regulations around Identity and access management. I focused on among others SOx and the Dutch code Tabaksblad.
