I decided to split my real estate company up into several separate organizations, each with a co-founder involved. We steadily work on creating new Young companies. Therefore we continue to look for talented people who want to use their knowledge and experience to further develop a company and themselves.

With my initial business savings, I ventured into real estate by purchasing my first property for rental purposes. As time went on, I expanded my portfolio by developing numerous housing projects in and around The Hague. Within a few years, these projects varied from twenty to a hundred homes per project, marking a big turning point in my entrepreneurial journey.This led to the growth of Young Real Estate into a broad-based organization in the real estate sector, resulting in our consistent inclusion in the PropertyNL Top 50 Developers for four years in a row.One of the highlights for Young Real Estate was the acquisition of 20,000 m2 of vacant office space near The Hague. Within a year, all the space was leased out, and a part of it was redeveloped into a student hotel that I still own.

In 2023, Young started a collaboration with Young Business Award: an award show for young entrepreneurs who want to take their business to the next level.With entrepreneurship, ambition, and innovative ideas as its values, this initiative fits perfectly with our own DNA. And, gives us the opportunity to share our knowledge and experience with young entrepreneurs. Additionally, I am personally involved in the competition's jury to recognize the 'Best Young Business of the Netherlands,' demonstrating our commitment to supporting and celebrating the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Young has proudly committed to Young Impact as a social partner. We believe young people who dedicate themselves to others, society or nature, should be rewarded. Through the Award Show, we will honour this generation of people who dare to make their voices heard and are not afraid to stand up for their ideals. Then, by definition, you already deserve an award. I am very honoured to be part of this special event and look forward to putting all these young impact makers in the spotlight.

During my studies in Rotterdam I founded the first catering company in The Netherlands for and by students and arranged dinners for groups of 20 people to 400 people per event.After graduation I continued my hospitality adventure and organized over 200 events and sport tournaments aimed at youth and students.
