As a main contractor Quantity Surveyor, I oversee cost management and financial aspects of construction projects. My role involves estimating costs, managing budgets, and ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints. I collaborate closely with Consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to track expenses, negotiate contracts, and optimize project profitability. My goal is to ensure efficient cost control and contribute to successful project delivery.

-Take off quantity- Analyze market price of materials and labor charges- Prepare and estimate budget and cost plan- Preparation of bid tender documents and tenderer list according to the packages.- Pre qualifications of contractor, vendors and suppliers.- Prepare Bill of Quantities with work breakdown structure.- Analyze the value of bids and prepare comparison and assessment of tender price.- Liaise and coordinate with consultant, client and architects and attend the meetings.- Pre and post contract and procurement documents- Valuation of contractor claims- Certify contractor payment and confirm with Accounts for making payment- Analyze and monitor the actual construction cost within budget and cost plan- Preparation of weekly payment report for management review.- Verification of Variation Order- Closing of Final Account

-Monitor and interpret contract & design documents supplied by the client.-Prepare master and two week look ahead schedules.-Conduct task launch with client representative engineers and prepare reports for every new scope commencement on site.-Prepare client inspection forms with updated approved documents by client and summit daily inspection & testing plan.-Inspect the quality of works; assure the quantity of materials delivered on-site, are in accordance with techanical specifications and contract agreement.-Day-to-day management of site work activities: including supervision and monitoring site labour force and works by subcontractors, to achieve the project schedule.-Oversee health, safety and environmental matters on site.-Prepare progress reports to Management Team for monthly progress claim purpose.-Assit to Manager in internal audit work and other paper work whatever requested.
