I help guide students learn how to use fabrication machines within campus.

I embarked on a project that focused on designing a test setup for one of the company's technology. The goal was to optimize the current setup they have, so it takes less time to run consecutive tests. This project had me involved in designing a PCB card extender using Altium Design and the enclosures with SolidWorks. To ensure the PCB met the specification prior to sending it to be manufactured, I used Saturn PCB toolkit to determine the board's performance based on the characteristics (e.g. trace width and space between traces) I put in, and from this, I can determine what needed to be adjusted.

I am aiding on a research that focus on characterizing the behavior of magnetic materials in power electronics and how they contribute to energy loss.
