An accomplished executive with extensive experience navigating complex accounting and financial reporting matters for public and private companies, with expertise in transactions involving public offerings, secondary filings and business combinations. As a senior audit partner, built an extensive record of assembling and successfully leading engagement teams through demanding engagements with compressed timelines. My early career included time in EY’s Seattle office, but as a Portland native, and having garnered substantial experience in working with fast-growing start-ups during the dot-com boom, was asked to relocate to Portland in order to open an office and build a practice serving the Oregon market. As a key member of the Portland executive team, instrumental in growing the client base as well as the diverse team serving the retail, consumer products, technology and manufacturing sectors in Oregon. Additionally, managed the audit practice through a major recession and several client bankruptcies and restructurings.My focus is on building impactful relationships within my teams, across organizations and within the community. I am often the executive sponsor for diversity and inclusion initiatives, I engage with and support entrepreneurs within the Oregon market, and am a long-standing Board member of Friends of the Children.
