A seasoned professional in the fenestration industry, Jim Snyder’s diverse industry background includes working as a consultant, industry trainer, industry columnist, technical writer and speaker. As a serious craftsman, he performed multiple field trials and documented nearly ten years of fenestration research, establishing best practices along the way.Jim created various fenestration instructional videos and led the revision of InstallationMasters in 2013-2014. He participates in numerous AAMA industry task groups, including leading the Replacement group to create industry-wide innovative installation replacement techniques during the first year. His experience came full circle with FenestrationMasters certification, Certified Document Technologist (CDT), and prior operation of a fenestration small business including sales and installation. Jim is seeking an opportunity to best serve an organization by leveraging his vast fenestration knowledge and skills, whether that is through consultation with existing or prospective clients, improving process efficiencies, product design, and installation protocols, or training others on the finer points of fenestration.
