Participates in local workforce development efforts through Licking County Chambers of Commerce and county-wide workforce development committees. Oversees the Project Prepare initiative, designed to expose and encourage K-12 students to pursue training and careers within manufacturing. Works in collaboration with district directors to identify pathway opportunities and embed workforce needs into program curriculum from kindergarten through adult programming.

Creates plans of action to develop job seekers into self-sufficient employees through active involvement with businesses, government agencies, and educators. Creates curriculum, coordinates trainings, recruitment events, advertising, and large community events. Organizes and provides direction to staff during special events. Presents services and curriculum to large groups of professionals, students, and media. Researches and compiles labor market statistics utilized to retain and attract businesses. Remains informed of current unemployment and labor market developments.
