I was an on-premise sales representative in the Houston, Rice Village/Upper Kirby area. I sold a specific division of spirits within Republic National Distributing, acquiring an in-depth/specific understanding of product knowledge within my category. I sold spirit products to a myriad of accounts ranging from small, neighborhood bars to high-end and chain restaurants while developing and maintaining close professional relationships with over 70 buyers. I developed effective time management and organizational skills in order to maintain productive days without direct oversight. I consistently met all personal and team goals within the specified time period and worked efficiently in a collaborative environment while also keeping a competitive relationship between myself and my counterparts. I also became adept at up-selling techniques by utilizing product knowledge.Today, RNDC is the second largest beverage alcohol distributor of premium wine and spirits in the U.S. with wholly owned operations in Alabama, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia. My personal responsibilities included promoting spirit, wine, and beer brands during events and tasting promotions in on-premise/off-premise locations.
