Review gas main renewal designs for permitting and construction purposes. These designs includes the abandonment of existing, non-compliant infrastructure and the installation of new plastic gas main. Review and approve cost analysis performed by Staff Engineers and make appropriate recommendations. Recommend process changes to enhance workplace productivity and efficiency. Review and approve vendor and contractor invoices. Invoice charges are allocated to the appropriate budget based on project. Work with Construction and Asset department on various projects requiring special attention such as bridge, dam, and railroad crossings.

Review and approve new business natural gas distribution and service designs and layout. Perform cost analysis and compile cost reports for natural gas canvassing projects. Assist outside departments with technical aspects of natural gas distribution and service designs. Recommend models and sizes of gas meters, regulators, excess flow valves, and other gas service components for construction. Host pre-construction meetings with construction department and contractors. Review renewal projects associated with retirement of existing distribution and service gas lines and installation of new infrastructure.

Renovated apartment units including drywall, flooring, ceiling, doors, and carpet. Completed “Make-Readys” of vacant apartmet units, included mechanical, electrical, plumbing and painting duties. Removed AC units and installed heat pumps in its place. Installed drainage systems around residential building perimeter.• Installed new, energy-efficient windows for over 150 residential units.• Eliminated rain-induced soil erosion at the perimeter of 21 residential buildings via installation of drainage systems.
