Ada Lo is a Assistant Building Surveyor at Swire Properties. They is proficient in English and Mandarin. Colleagues describe them as "The Library has showcased Ada's award-winning stories about her journey of participating in ‘Maintenance and Appreciation of Historical Buildings Creativity Competition – Tiny Model (Public Category), organized by the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors in November 2020. “Rejuvenation” is a tiny model of Lui Seng Chun on a 1:200 scale. Ada shared one of the obstacles that she encountered in the competition, she felt herself was not competent and prepared enough to complete her model successfully as she was solely responsible for the project. Ada thought the unnecessary time spent on fear of failure would cause more procrastination. Therefore, she started early preparation to have more flexibility and room for unpredictable events. Ada won the Championship in the competition. We truly appreciate and believe their advice and sharing will further inspire the PolyU Community in years to come."
