• Monitor closely end-of-line manufacturing processes to ensure strict enforcement and implementation of set specifications to minimize lot rejection and defects due to non-compliance.• Reviews manufacturing specifications and initiates modifications and changes to achieve set quality, yield, and turnaround time at optimum cost.• Implements technical manufacturing process that will cater to a particular customer needs and specifications to ensure that finished products meet the prescribed standards.• Conducts initial failure analysis and product/process trouble shooting. Initiates corrective action on the basis of technical analysis.• Suggest possible cost reduction programs, methods and productivity improvement projects to production and other support groups.• Discusses with production and related support groups material, environmental, and utilities requirement needed in the production line to improve quality of output, yield and turn time.• Designs programs to narrow down process variables using scientific systems, methods or techniques.• Oversees and monitors processing of lots for engineering evaluation, qualification or experiments during assigned shift.• Generates reports on various activities including evaluation of new or improved processes for new products/devices.• Evaluates problems that arises during production run to zero-in on causes of defects on lots and initiates and/or recommends action needed to eliminate such.• Owns regular and timely update of Effective Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA).• Support 8D generation.
