Main duties and responsibilities i. Managed all day-to-day Financial transactions of the Programs/Projects to ensure effective program implementation within LWR Financial policies, procedures and donor requirements.ii. Provided administrative support for the programme ensuring the office systems run efficiently and in a coordinated manner.iii. Managed the Project Finance, Administration, Projects Asset register and all local Procurement while ensuring that donor’s/organization’s policies were adhered to. iv. Monitored expenditures, budgets, cash flow forecast and informed the management of major issues whilst suggesting corrective actions as when needed. v. Maintained accounts payables and accounts receivable systems in order to ensure complete and accurate monthly reports.vi Checked the accuracy and completeness of Projects Month-end closing balances and prepared the necessary adjusting journal entries.vii. Processed payment vouchers for supplier’s payments, travel advance requests and other payments request.viii. Processed monthly payroll for local staff on time; ensured statutory deductions (tax, etc.) were remitted to necessary authorities on timeix. Managed the Project Petty Cash, keeping records of all field financial transactions.x. Supported preparation of cash forecasts, requests and submission to regional Office which ensured flawless cash flow.xi. Provided timely and sound Financial and Administration reports to the management, donors and other stakeholders on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
