Languages such as English and Mandarin were not my strongest subject in school. To survive life in polytechnic, I had to work part-time. The only job that granted me flexibility was doing sales in a retail shop. I learned to communicate with people from different walks of life, moreover, I picked up sales management. I identify as a serial entrepreneur. I am a people-oriented person that loves interacting with people from all walks of life. I also have a passion for music and the arts. I started my career with Prudential as a Financial Consultant. Being Self-employed, I learned communication skills, sales, and marketing. With these skills, I then ventured into the education business, where I faced a lot of unexpected challenges. Later, I moved into recruitment for a life insurance company. This was where I saw an opportunity to offer complimentary General Insurance services. At this point, I decided to take that leap of faith, step out of my comfort zone, and start a General Insurance Company. As a General Insurance Specialist, I assure my clients and give them peace of mind guiding them through the various Business-related policies. I simplified the processes so that they could focus on their businesses while I ensured that their businesses were well-protected. Building a long-term relationship with my clients helps me understand their needs better, also allowing me to provide them with comprehensive business risk analyses.
