The Edinburgh Chinese Arts Association (ECAA) is a voluntary, non-profit and independent association for Chinese arts and culture. We are a group of music and dance lovers both professional and beginners who devote our time to deliver the best of Chinese culture to our neighbourhoods and local communities.My main tasks include planning marketing campaigns for upcoming events; organising ticketing; leading a small group to carry out sponsor research and outreach; implementing plans to fundraise locally; designing graphics and printed media; liaising with external organisations, media and businesses; organising on the day activities and volunteer allocations; occasional presenting and public speech.

Events - curating panel discussion, reaching out to guests, logistics and housekeeping for guests, deciding on topic and working on the discussion thread, leading and allocating tasks to other team members.Marketing - promotion of festival, promotion of own events, mailchimp and social media accounts, keeping up to date with ticketing etc.Ad hoc - randomly asked to be a human mannequin.
