As Head of E-commerce I had the overall responsibility for the e-commerce location with automated warehouse solutions, the customer service department as well as the following areas of responsibilities and tasks:• Overall responsible for a terminal of 24.000 square meters, handling about 1,5million outbound shipments per year, including strategy, staff, budget and customer relations• Negotiation, renewals, prioritization and terminations within distribution, customers and supplier contracts • Automation setups and ensuring profitability of the investment (e.g. AutoStore and Kardex)Selected results:• Improved the profitability of the terminal significantly• Successful crisis management during the Corona pandemic and lockdown during a continuous and unprecedented massive work pressure• Optimization and improving the cut-off time for customers (at no extra cost to either us or our customers)• Developed a new and sustainable web packaging concept, which were copied under the auspices of DSV (following the acquisition of Prime Cargo in December ’20)• Enhanced customer communication, with the result of both praise from customers and increased job satisfaction among the employees

As Head of Logistics I had the overall responsibility for all aspects of logistics in SILVAN, covering from replenishment system and 3PL warehouse set-up to import from Far East and E-commerce logistics. Including the following areas of responsibilities:• Responsible for the replenishment set-up handling the centralized goods ordering for all 44 stores, central warehouse and webshop warehouse• Import from Far East and the US (air and sea), apr. 800 TEU per year.• Freight agreements for both colli, pallet and crane deliveriesSelected results:• Unifying three different teams (holding very different tasks) into a strong Logistics Department, with the best well-being score at the company head office• Reducing the delivery time to web-customers from 3-5 days to 1-2 days within a period of three months• Development of focus area/problem visibility tool for colleagues in Purchasing department for use in e.g. annual negotiations with the goods suppliers etc.
