With a discerning and artistic eye, I lead and collaborate with creatives to make images that tell meaningful and evocative stories. My 10+ years of experience, with expertise in photography and illustration, include art directing an online editorial series on unusual labs, creating photo contests to increase audience engagement, and working on two magazines honored with General Excellence awards from the American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME).From ideation to closure of a project, I'm equally comfortable managing a team of talent as well as getting actively hands-on in production, with extensive experience juggling multiple visual projects in high-pressure settings for publishing and marketing industries. Directing photographers, illustrators, videographers, and graphic designers to ensure artwork is brand supportive is second-nature to me, as is sourcing and licensing images (while geeking out on copyright issues). I dream of having more opportunities to amplify the work of visionaries and artists, as I'm dedicated to the arts (thanks to my fine art education, volunteer experience, and years working behind theater curtains).
