Hi, I am a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate at the University of Southern California studying quantitative methods and computational psychology. My research interests are measurement, structural equation modeling, and multilevel modeling. My dissertation project focuses on sample size planning for multilevel and longitudinal studies, particularly how to incorporate uncertainty in parameter values using a Bayesian approach. I also conduct research on measurements and latent variable modeling, such as measurement invariance with discrete variables, two-stage path analysis, and latent class/profile analysis. I am interested in computational methods, such as natural language processing, and one of my projects is on extending the multilevel regression and poststratification method on big language data. I love developing statistical software to facilitate the use of cutting-edge research methods.
