Served as a liaison and SME in HIE vendor/customer nationwide groups and New York state technical workgroups/initiatives.• Ensured completeness and quality of the migration effort from the Optum HIE to the new Mirth HIE. - Provided general specifications, documented operational and data source nuances. - Guided Mirth engineers. Co-designed the technical data posting plan/transition sequencing. - Validated transition of MPI/patient demographics data, consents application logic and data, system auditing, operational reporting, and associations between demographic records and clinical documents. - Performed usage reconciliation between the legacy and new system, before- and after-go-live.• Investigated problems in network, browser, application server, database, and 3rd-party system environments. Designed and developed software optimizations to usability, robustness, and bandwidth use of the CollabWorx multi-user collaboration software platform. Provided expert remote technical support Tier 2&3 for 75% of CollabWorx customers (including the UK's National Health Service).Managed integrations between the CollabWorx collaboration technology platform and 3rd-party solutions ($2M+ projects' total). Integrated chat, IM, video conferencing, desktop/document sharing, annotations and more, with 3rd-party mapping, 3D visualization, document workflow, and web portals. Integrated the GUI and security of the independent systems. Maintained and ported CollabWorx software customization and integration codebase between different versions of the open source Liferay portal.Prototyped new functionality that helped to win the contract for the FBI's collaboration system. Successfully handled production deployment issues, without direct access to the FBI's secret network. Architected the Common Access Card (CAC) authentication integration for both DoD-hosted and commercially-hosted web services. Designed and developed software installers for DoD's hardened operating systems.Singlehandedly secured and implemented a paid pilot of CollabWorx solution at Mayo Clinic. Successfully managed the OEM relationship with CA Technologies (Fortune 500 company). As part of the Hewlett-Packard team, facilitated and technically supported over-the-satellite video-conferencing events for the charitable Freedom Calls Foundation.Managed customer, partner, and vendor relationships in an international setting.
