Maintain server, network, and software systems of the company to ensure continued productivity of the staff and accessibility to customers including on-call support after normal business hours.Develop project plans for upgrades and system documentation for ongoing management of infrastructure.Perform server and network upgrades to expand capacity and functionality.Work from specifications drawn up by systems analysts, or discuss requirements with the end users of programs and analyze problems and determine what steps need to be taken and in what order, and translate these steps into precise computer language commands. Also responsible for report design and maintenance.

Design, implement, and maintain GNU/Linux Ubuntu based Asterisk PBX systems for customers. This includes hardware assembly, compiling and installing software, and configuring various databases, mailers, and other key features for control and expanded functionality such as fax to e-mail.Support customers via e-mail, phone, and on-site troubleshooting and repairs, during and after business hours.

Assist customers with technology problems and recommend solutions. Create, monitor, and finalize service requests for systems checked in and out of Tech Shop. Perform diagnostics on and repair customers' computers. Occasional on site service as needed.

Support and develop websites for the Center for Instructional Technology. Help with departmental functions including video services and training professors. On call support for instructional technology for professors teaching evening and Saturday classes.

Learn proprietary software through training program and complete assessment presentation. Assist with business functions including weekly backups, database report writing, and office management tasks.

Assist Web developer with management and creation/upgrade of various websites in the ASP language. Rewrote key modules for student forums to better meet functional needs of university.

Test equipment in the computer labs to ensure it is in working order. Help users with questions regarding their user accounts, software, and hardware in the academic labs.

Assist network users with user accounts and maintain the computers, printers, and keep the lab rooms functioning. Assist with upgrades and changes in computer equipment around the campus facilities.
