I have provided a variety of dental services across metropolitan and remote Northern Territory with initially focusing on dental surgery. This further expanded my experience with restorative and preventative components of Dentistry and evolved to assisting those suffering from complex medical conditions including patients undergoing Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy treatment for cancer. My experience at the Special Needs Dental Clinic within Royal Darwin Hospital assisted my growth in a specialized field which allowed me to reach out and support those whom have complex medical histories including renal, cardiac, psychological, and mental conditions. I was required to work intricately with multiple departments within the hospital to ensure optimal and timely care for all patients was provided. Currently, I work closely with the Dental Students from James Cook University as a clinical supervisor to mentor and guide them on their careers as part of Oral Health Services NT. I also provide dental services as part of NT Dental as an Associate Dentist at times as a single chair practice as well as working as a team to ensure comprehensive care is provided to patients.
