Hello!I recently have became a Mechatronics engineering graduate from Kennesaw State University, July 2023. It has been a long road to get here but I have what you call a persistent personality. I have always been motivated to accomplish more that what other once thought was out of my reach. Time after time I surprised them however I was never surprised. I truly put in the work and maintained my confidence that I will eventually reach any level that I aimed for. Now I aim for a role on the frontlines of technology. In particularly I am aiming for a company with a strong robotics research and development department. I am very new but I have the skills and motivation of meaningfully contribute into pushing the field forward. I just need the chance and means to make robotics my only focus. I will put the skills that I already have in mechanical, electrical and programing to productive use while still growing and perfecting new skills.I began my journey right out of high school, class of 2010. I went to then, Middle Georgia College and completed their Aircraft Structural Technology program and a few of their Composite layup courses. From there I was recruited to transform passenger jets into cargo jets in Ohio. I new that this wasn't the long term place for me. I just wanted to get some experience in the field. I returned to Georgia and lived with my parents while I went to community college and got my general studies out of the way in Mathematics. Then I enrolled into the mechanical engineering program at the then, Southern Poly Technic University. After a few semesters I learned of and enrolled into the mechatronics program because it was more inline with the field that I truly enjoyed the most, robotics. During this time for the most part I was supporting myself and opened two businesses. One of those business still lives today. I have learned so many life lesson on my journey and many are applicable in my desired role. I can maneuver around obstacles that my younger colleagues my not ever think of.
