Experience with the following components of distribution: Receiving, Order Processing, Host Interface, Document Printing, Production Planning, Inventory Control, Order Packing, and Shipping.• Support for the Conveyor Control System (Mathews), and Beumer Tilt Tray Sorting System.• Extensive Reporting using Datatrieve, Access, and Excel.• The WMS system was designed on a VAX/OpenVMS system using an RMS Database. Coding was done in C.

• Programming and Support in a large fully automated Distribution facility. Exposure to all phases of distribution, interfacing with host systems, order processing, customer needs, automated storage and movement, scheduling, order packing, and shipping.• Developed and programmed a Short Range Scheduling system. This utilized order dates and customer needs for resource allocation of the real-time systems. Data for this system was supplied from an interface with SAP R/3 SD module.• Created a document printing system that saved over $175,000 per year. This system was written in Visual Basic and resided on a Windows NT Client Server Network. It was interfaced with SAP R/3.• Extensive work with a Shipping and Transportation module. This customized system written in C involved interfacing with carriers, consolidation and building loads, and labeling shipping units. Designed customer specific barcode shipping labels using Jetforms. Systems used RF communications for remote operations.• Development and support of real-time material movement systems. Using inter-process communications to interface with PLCs, Barcode scanners, and ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems).

• Systems Manager for a VAX 11/750 and a PDP 11/23. Maintained and upgraded both hardware and software. Also PC Coordinator.• Designed and programmed engineering applications including a Data Acquisition System, Bearing Analysis Program, Purchase Order System, and a Prototype Bill of Materials system.
