TEDxBangsar has been championing the convergence of influential Malaysians who has made their names in other parts of the world impacting communities and Expats who has devoted their life to change-making in Malaysia. Over the years, we have done this across several cities with the same mission, and we realise the innovators and early adopters are always the ones that helped us to grow our movement the most. Bangsar is the gathering spot of these people, we're convinced that not only TEDx needs to have our presence here to grow exponentially in Malaysia, the Bangsar communities need us to bring their attention onto the ideas we're spreading so that they can play a part in all our transformative gatherings. TEDxBangsar is much more than a one-time event. With the talks published online for free, TEDx talks have triggered innovation in all corners of the globe. More than anything, TEDxBangsar aims at sparking genuine curiosity and initiating a love of learning in its most fundamental expression.

From 2013 to 2021, we've organized 10 TEDx events, including standard events, live simulcasts and salons; and helped TEDxPetalingStreet and TEDxIntelBayanLepas in coaching their speakers. In the past 5 years, we've already coached and assisted more than 100 TEDx Speakers and spread their ideas to the world.Throughout the journey, we've seen how our platforms has spawned movements. For instance, a talk that we’ve curated went viral on TEDx YouTube Channel, with 2.8mil views now and on Weibo China, with 2.3 mil views now. Also, two speakers that we’ve invited to speak, met each other and collaborated right after the event and made "the world's tallest clothing closet" to drive sustainability at a global scale. The project was featured in Forbes last December. Other than that, we've also received many feedbacks from the local community that how getting to know a particular speaker through our event, has helped advanced their social cause and how some of the talks has inspired them to do things differently. That's the beauty of TEDx I think, transformation were orchestrated in unexpected ways, where even the vibe can touch hearts and incite change.
