I am a freelance Graphic Artist and was a Chef and now I’m a home decor designer, gallery artist and illustrator.I been working as a Chef and illustrator for 10 years. This experience has given me the expertise needed to work with a various array of clients.I take pride in everything that I create and I am a task orintated worker.As a youngster I participated in the Mayor Daley's Summer Youth program for emerging Chicago Artist in 1972. The Program focused on mentoring Chicago's inner city youth from ages 10-15.My job duties included painting murals for the beautification of inner urban area.On march 1st 2011 I Participated in the Oakland Street Flea Market Atlanta ga.Art institute of Phoenix ArizonaAt this location I won the campus Digital Art Gallery Poster contest at the Art Institute of Phoenix for my illustration " The Power of Arizona" on April 2013. I did not complete the BA program but received college credit for my 2 1/2 years of education.In april 2012 I was Accepted into the program for Graphic Designers with a focus on illustration.April 2011 I worked as a Artist liason at Greenbriar Mall for kids brunch event Atlanta gaMay 2011 Participated as a artist liason in the Black Arts Festival at Greenbrial Mall Atlanta Ga.June 2011 My Artwork was featured in Frozen Magazine publication. My main focus is to create a pattern that will be aesthetically pleasing to the buyer while using my skills as a Artist to visually enhance the image. To complete this task I mainly use Adobe programs illustrator CS6 and Photoshop CS6. I also use Acrylic paints and brushes to create patterns and which later I manipulate in Photoshop.
