I recently spent 4 years in the Marine Corps in the Silent Drill Platoon as a member and instructor of the unit in Washington D.C. performing for crowds of Vietnam Veterans, Native American Communities, NFL Halftime games, medal of honor recipients and also the president of the united states and foreign ambassadors. On the off-season I was an Instructor teaching and evaluating potential members of the Drill team going through the selection process while also teaching members who are applying to become instructors of the selection process. My job included mentoring people helping them control their emotions during work and how to communicate to the various crowds that come out to see us while also teaching people how to be analytical when inspecting students work and progress in the training.
