The Interim General Manager assures implementation of administrative and financial policies of the Playhouse and works under the Executive Director to provide analysis and strategy for the theater. The Interim General Manager reports to the Executive Director; all senior staff has a secondary reporting relationship to the Interim General Manager.Primary Responsibilities:FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT • Collaborates with the CFO and Executive Director on annual budget development, implementation and tracking.• With CFO, oversees departmental financial reporting and ensure compliance with FASB and GAAP.LOGISTICAL & STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT• Coordinate the efforts of all departments to meet the goals of the organization as set by Executive Director.• Under the direction of the Executive Director, strategize with Marketing Director to develop and implement innovative tactics to maximize ticketing and subscription revenue.• Human Resource management for all Playhouse employees, including overseeing payroll with Senior Accountant; management of health insurance policies, 401(k), and other employee benefits; maintaining HR policies; insuring compliance with all local, state and federal laws. • Supervise community collaborations and rentals.• Coordinate with the Education Department to meet the goals of the organization and lead associated programming assessment as requested by Executive Director.• Contact for support groups, including Playhouse Parents and Youth Theater Advisory Council as directed by Executive Director.• Supervision of Front of House, including house management and concessions/bar.• Primary liaison for Actors’ Equity Association, United Scenic Artists, Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers, American Federation of Musicians, and other unions.• Manage production contracting with Artistic Director and Director of Operations.• With the Director of Operations and Information Technology Director, oversee needs and implementation in these areas.

Reporting to the Managing and Artistic Director, the Development Director is responsible for achieving the fundraising goals and engaging sponsors in ongoing service activities.
