My PhD project at Umeå University was on Educational Work, specializing in literature teaching. I devised, planned, and operationalized a research project, studying upper secondary teachers in Sweden and how they teach literature. My focus was on the qualitative aspects, particularly the Reading Experience, in contrast to quantitative, measurable ones, that are often highlighted in curricula, assessments, and international rankings. Furthermore, I collected data which I analyzed for both research papers and my thesis (Teaching the Reading Experience). In addition to disseminating the findings in written form, I presented my research at international conferences.
