About Wisam Safi, Pmp

I am a hands-on results-driven Project Management Professional and EPC Leader with more than 17 years’ experience driving complex onshore and offshore projects, with expertise in fast-tracking delivery, having led large-scale Oil, Gas & Petrochemical projects across Asia and the Middle East.In particular, my proven expertise in leading high performing teams across diverse areas from Construction and Yard management, to Building and Engineering coordination, and track record for initiating and implementing successful new and improved programmes has enabled me to drive efficiency and deliver breakthrough project results.I come from a 2nd generation EPC family – when I was 12, my father sent me to do mock site surveys with an experienced surveyor. This has been one of my fondest childhood experiences, and has instilled my love for the EPC field. I enjoy multi-dimensional roles, especially where they involve dealing with people across multiple cultures, and utilising my highly inquisitive nature to be able to convert theory into application. That is why I chose to be in Engineering and Project Management – Engineering directly touches everyone’s lives in one way or other, whilst Project Management is like running one’s own business. Combine these together, and I feel especially motivated by the exciting challenges this career brings.
