My goal is to learn and excel at all of my tasks. I believe I am a strong, self motivated, fast learning asset to any project, small or large.My expertise is Video Game Design and Development. I earned a second-highest honours certificate in my graduating class (94%). I also maintained perfect attendance throughout my time in school and internships.I am comfortable picking up new software, languages, game engines, etc. Some of the languages I know currently include HTML, JavaScript, CSS, C++, C#, Java, Python, and Visual Basic. Some of the game engines I know include Unity3d, MonoGame, PyGame, and Phaser. I also continue to learn and apply new knowledge every day.Previously, I have worked at two internships.At the first, I was working side by side with game designers, graphic artists, and developers at a medium sized studio. I delivered thorough testing reports and rapid prototypes, and tested possible features. I also delivered a full, published portion of a kid's educational game in that time. My portion was a connect-the-dot game that taught players about constellations.At the second internship, I was, again, working side by side with a full design, art and development team, this time a start up of about 8 people. I was working on an HTC Vive exclusive that did not make it to launch.Then for almost two years I was teaching kids to code in Visual Basic, Python, Java, and C#. In that time I really increased my knowledge base, and I was able to help students really flourish. I also created additional content for my students, including researching best techniques in order to keep my students up to date, and not deliver outdated teaching material.
