One of such assets (USARI) is the 2nd highest crude producer within the JV, and plays a highly critical role to the operations and profitability of ExxonMobil in Nigeria.• Provide engineering inputs to facility shutdown planning and execution.• Review and update facility operating procedures.• Develop and steward prioritized worklist of asset engineering support activities.• Perform effective asset operations surveillance, report exceptions and steward preventive and corrective measures.• Define pre-gate 1 project opportunities for the asset.• Participate in HAZOP, risk screening, risk assessment, root cause failure analysis (RCFA), and scenario management workshops.• Provide engineering support to other asset support groups (operations, maintenance, programmatics, production project team) for effective planning and execution of facility work items / activities.• Provide technical solutions to asset engineering problems, as well as identify and steward asset improvement opportunities.• Lead DPR conformity assessment walk-through sessions (a pre-requisite for license to operate).• Provide engineering inputs to facility operating procedures, maintenance programs and maintenance procedures.

Currently leading a project team tasked with the replacement of corroded piping / integrity restoration of Erha FPSO and OSO platform. The Erha asset accounts for 20% of Mobil Producing Nigeria's Daily Crude Production, while the OSO asset accounts for 100% of our NGL production. As such, top on the priority of this project is optimizing engineering, construction and installation activities in order to achieve a minimal facility downtime during installationKEY ACTIVITIES:1. Act as the technical focal point between the company field / construction and design engineering team, and the contractor team.2. Development of solutions to field technical problems and review of contractor technical proposals, stewardship of modifications and technical upgrades, as well as direct supervision of the field / construction and design engineering teams.3. Coordinate technical interface activities between the various company stakeholders (construction team, project execution planning team, project engineering team, design engineering team, company leadership).4. Provide engineering support for project execution planning and project schedule optimization.

Currently leading the design team tasked with upgrading the fire water piping system (piping, deluge vales and pumps) in over 20 oil and gas platforms (ExxonMobil assets in Nigeria) from Carbon Steel and GRE to Cu-Ni. This project which is expected to span over 5 years will help mitigate the corrosion issues associated with sea water piping, and maintain the integrity of the fire water system over the long term. KEY ACTIVITIES1. Develop project specification and design basis.2. Develop design specifications using company standards and industry design codes: API, ASME, ANSI, NFPA, AWS etc standards.3. Develop charters for, and participate actively in technical reviews and HAZOP/Constructability review sessions.4. Develop project progress reports.5. Prepare reliable CTRs (man-hour) and budget estimates for project planning purposes.6. Lead inter-disciplinary check of design deliverables, and manage discipline interfaces.7. Coordinate the design engineering team to provide discipline inputs to project design and excution plan, schedule, cost estimations, progress measurement and reporting.8. Provide participatory leadership, and be accountable for the quality, safety and performance of a team of 40 engineers from both the client end, contractor and sub-contractor end.9. Review and approve design change order requests (for additions, deletions or changes to the original project scope of work), personnel change requests, invoices etc.10. Lead in contractor / vendor bid and proposal evaluation and selection process.

KEY ACTIVITIES* Assist in solving piping modification and technical problems in the field.* Preparation and checking of piping design basis, specifications & standards.* Participation in constructive technical reviews with other disciplines.* Prepare and issue of engineering drawings and technical documents for Inter-disciplinary design checks (IDC’s).* Perform piping design calculations: dyke wall sizing, pipe thickness, and branch reinforcement.* Review of all the piping engineering deliverable / non deliverable documents from a technical and quality point of view.* Review of 3D models from the stand point of: P&ID requirements, safety and integrity requirements, operation & maintenance requirements and good engineering practices.* Participate in HAZID, HAZOP and risk reviews meetings in-house.* Checking of piping Isometrics, piping GAD’s and stress sketches.
