Hi, I’m Genie. I’m a global creative leader and an internationally known RuPaul's Drag Race Queen. My dual lives as an entertainer and an executive are packed with adventure, intrigue, and unwarranted wardrobe changes.Being a drag artist has taught me that every act of creativity is a performance. There’s an audience on the other side, and they need to get and feel what you’re trying to make them get and feel: the idea.As my capabilities in makeup, performance, and wig sorcery grew, I climbed the ranks at top brand creative agencies across the United States, Hong Kong, and Singapore. The year I filmed RuPaul's Drag Race in Asia, I also ascended to the Head of Creative role at VICE Media Asia-Pacific. From there, I stepped into executive roles at Netflix and Disney, shaping brand stories for two of the most iconic entertainment companies in the world.Now, I’m an international keynote speaker and workshop designer. I help leaders ignite their teams' full creative potential to overcome innovation stagnation.
