I started my career as a physiotherapist in 2015 and began to focus on the disability sector in 2018. I had the experience of conducting health assessments and designing rehabilitation strategies for people with disability.In 2019, I received Australia Awards Scholarship to pursue my master's degree in Health and Human Services Management specialising in Disability and Inclusion at Deakin University. My study helped me establish the fundamental skills of health management, literacy, and research. It allowed me to develop a strong capacity for conducting desk research at a high standard, with an ability to craft convincing evidence-based arguments. I was also able to refine my critical thinking, analytical, and academic writing skills. This experience also further strengthened my communication skills in written and spoken English.My current work allows me to use my knowledge of disability and inclusion to contribute more to the disability sector by designing programs that can stimulate disability employment opportunities in Indonesia. I also use my skills and expertise to develop inclusive and innovative programs for businesses and non-profits, including policy and regulation refinement that can help empower people with disability and establish a more disability-friendly and inclusive working environment.
