Witold Klaudel received his MSc in computer-aided manufacturing from Silesian University of Technology (Gliwice, Poland) and his PhD in computer science applied to industrial process modelling from Ecole Centrale Paris (France). He joined Renault Group in 1988, after 9 years of experience as an R & D engineer in computer aided engineering in the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry, (Gliwice, Poland). Witold is an expert in complex IT infrastructures and business project supervision. In particular, he is interested in modern IT architectures, security and communication technologies application to the automotive field. Witold led successfully teams of engineers in the international and French environments: Renault internal projects, Renault-Nissan collaborative projects, WP lead in European projects, and recently SystemX ELA (Automobile Electronics and Software) project lead. Today Witold leads the SystemX CTI (Cybersecurity for Intelligent Transport) project addressing the holistic approach to the cybersecurity of railway, automotive and aeronautic industries. Recently, he created his own company and pursues a research and industrial activity with the ambition of contributing to the development of "Computer-Aided Risk Analysis" tools supporting standard methodologies for risk analysis and quantification.He is also an author of scientific publications and patents. He is practicing an academic teaching in the field of distributed and secure computing.
