From the beginning of my working days I was obsessed with building the optimal organisational structure for the realisation of human potential. Again and again I was listening to people telling me that they are frustrated with their jobs, and that they do not truly realise themselves at work. I wanted to see a different world around me. I wanted to not only enjoy my daily life at work, but to be surrounded by people who enjoy it with me. I wanted to be surrounded by people working from their heart, giving their best selves to the mission that the organisation is meant to realise. From teal to holocracy, the ideals of a more empowering workplace captured my imagination, and I tried to implement them at the core of our growing software company. At some point I realised that the crucial ingredient for the heart-driven motivation that I wanted to see in the people around me is a clear mission and a product which can truly change the world. Thus from a culture guy I shifted to a product manager, leading our R&D initiative of using gamification to motivate people to grow and introduce new habits in the team/organisational context. The app captured me completely. There was nothing as sweet for me in my everyday life as working on the app and seeing it rise from my imagination. I loved the idea. I saw the potential of it. I saw the power it has. And I fell in love with the vision of the world it represents. I wanted to build a product that will become an organisational standard. I wanted to build an app that will transform the predominant organisational culture by introducing self-realisation to its core. I wanted to build an infinite leverage that will let me help people grow and realise their potential in organisations all around the world. While on that journey, I truly got to experience the highest level of motivation - the purpose driven motivation. And I still experience it every day.
