Ensure that IT projects contribute to the achievement of strategic goals.•Team Management: Lead and manage a team of project managers and coordinators, providing guidance, mentorship, and training to enhance their skills and performance.•Project Governance: Establish and maintain project governance standards, ensuring all IT projects are executed within the defined scope, time, budget, and quality constraints.•Methodology and Process Improvement: Continuously improve project management methodologies and processes to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency across all IT projects. Implement best practices and industry standards.•Resource Allocation: Oversee resource allocation and capacity planning for IT projects. Ensure that the right people with the right skills are assigned to projects.•Portfolio Management: Manage the IT project portfolio, including prioritization, tracking, and reporting on project progress and performance. Make recommendations for resource allocation and adjustments as needed.•Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that projects are executed with minimal disruptions. Develop and implement risk management strategies.•Stakeholder Communication: Establish strong communication channels with project stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and project teams.
