Client profiles:· Agriculture· Construction· Retail· Importing and exporting Main responsibilities included:· Audit planning: Audit budgets, risk assessments and general planning· Performing audit: Designing and performance of substantive tests · Audit finalizing: Final analytical review, conclusions of audit and audit report · Financial statements: Preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable standards, including IFRS for SME's - balance sheet, income statement, accounting policies, cash flow statement, notes to the financial statements.· Tax calculations: Companies, individuals, VAT, Trusts, Provisional tax, Dividend tax· Tax forms: Companies, individuals, trusts, VAT201's, Dividend tax returns· Accounting: Preparation of fixed asset registers, tax asset registers, calculating current and deferred taxation, complying with applicable standards, preparing journals, recording of debtors and creditors· Month-end processes: Accounts payable, accounts receivable, salaries and wages and VAT reconciliations· Managing of audit team members and reporting to managers and directors· Direct communication with clients, building excellent client relationships.
