Currently helping to prototyping/building a few product ideas around west LA, CA. - local distribution/delivery of medical recreational herbs (with medical perscription)- none profit organization mobile application to helping out kids with social volunteering activities- social network that shares web links with friends, groups- a free open source quiz creation platform built on top of youtube API.

Livinghealthy was an early stage start up company, which was privately funded by a group of investors. I have been brought in to take over engineering responsibility, from an external software agency company. The goal was to bring the software development in house, to ensure delivering products on time based on the business strategy. Within 9 months, we were able to assemble the tech team, launch the e-commerce, support multiple marketing campaigns, built KPI dashboards.Also accomplished a recommendation engine based on sailthru BI platform, a video content publishing integration framework, an advertising tool to publish private advertisings on the content website.At the mean time, improved web application performance 300% in terms of response time, largely optimised for mobile user's experience, while IT/Hosting cost still kept at a very low level.Integrated with 20+ external services, including Newscred, GA, Amazon, Sailthru, doubleclick, optimizely, sailthru, Parsely, Gigya, newrelic etc.Tech stacks: RoR, Heroku, pg, mongodb, redis, react-native, circle.ci.

Heading technology department, mainly focused on building out our social, content and e-commerce properties. As well to set up and support operation processes for e-commerce business, including finance integration, reporting, shipping, payments.Tech stacks: RoR/node.js, AWS, heroku, PG, Redis, Mongodb was the main stack.
