Began position as a billable Windows/Virtual platform project resource for CSC Clients, and evolved into a Project Coordinator role when I built a system in SharePoint where Client Project Managers could request resources and keep track of Open Projects. Fisk IT started out as a startup IT consulting company supporting and enhancing small to midsize business IT processes, networks, infrastructure, and applications. Services included a managed helpdesk, partnering up with client executive and IT resources for billable project work, and assisting in the monitoring, enhancement, and documentation of our clients’ critical business infrastructure. I was brought on to enhance the support provided to existing clients and projects and to assist with research and implementation of IT Managed Service models. Fisk IT acquired the Pittsburgh Technology Council as our primary customer providing End User and Infrastructure Support as well as CIO Advisory Services. We upgraded them from a Server 2003 environment to a hybrid cloud infrastructure using Office 365 and Windows Azure synchronizing with a localized virtual server.

Worked with small business owner Shelly Mullen to provide Verizon and Prepaid phone services to the community of Ashtabula in the historic Ashtabula Harbor. Shelly was a driving effort in teaching me how to communicate effectively with strangers and it was a ton of fun working in the cell phone industry when the Blackberry Curve and the Motorola Razr were the best sellers. This job was probably the best year of my life, I was able to leave senior year at 12PM, and I kept the job until I left for college in Pittsburgh. I could have made a career out of selling cell phones, I even continued to do it at Best Buy and another Wireless company in Pittsburgh while in College. Another fun tidbit about this place was that my Mom's small business was right next door. So begins my career in IT...
