As a provider of residential assisted living and memory care my "feels like family" residential home environment gives seniors who require memory care or assistance with their activities of daily living a caring place to call home. This frees their adult children from the guilt and stress of having to take care of their parents. They can be confident that their mom or dad is being well cared for and treated like family.Having grown up in a grown up in a family that took care of my uncle who was mentally handicapped I know what it is like to have to take into consideration the care of a family member when making any type of plans. Many times I was the "babysitter" for my uncle when my mom needed to run errands and we rarely went on any family vacations unless we could bring Uncle Robert or could find someone willing to care for him while we were gone.With that experience, I want to be able to provide that respite for families so they are able to live their lives in stress and guilt free.
