I have been in the federal contracting career field since August 2020. I have learned the career field inside and out while attending The University of Arizona Global Campus online since 2019. By 2021 I had gained enough knowledge and had taken on enough work to progress in my career field to a Contracting Officer. Shortly after becoming a Contracting Officer, I was tasked with my first deployment. I have an in-depth understanding from my experience as a Contingency Contracting Officer in the Middle East, spending time in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Toward the end of my deployment, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, and after returning home, I jumped into the Master's program to earn my MBA.
