I'm a jack of all trades with a passion for art, culture, community and sustainability. I started my academic career studying Arts & Culture (BA), where I developed an interest in what culture is, how people experience it and how one can shape it. I decided to specialise in Political Culture, as I was fascinated by politics and philosophy. From there, I began to focus on environmentalism, which led to an incredible passion for sustainability. This interest continued and led to the decision to study Sustainability Science and Policy (MSc). Throughout this program, I learnt more about environmental law, governance & sustainable business. During my studies I worked various student jobs, ranging from civic rights and social action to sustainability. After graduating I took some time off where I briefly worked in retail. Shortly after, I started my professional career working at a start-up where I worked on enhancing the digital structure of circularity through digital implementations of material and product passports, and other digital tools. Next to that, I had been organising my own initiative, Queer Art Club. Queer Art Club is a place for members of the LGBTQIAP+ community to get creative. My focus right now lies on developing Queer Art Club further, expanding its capacity and making sure more queer people feel at home in Maastricht.I'm keen to connect with other culture makers in Maastricht and beyond, in order to learn from and inspire one another.

Project CoordinatorQueer Art Club Jul 2021 - PresentMaastricht, Limburg, NetherlandsQueer Art Club is a place for members of the LGBTQIAP+ community to get creative. Queer Art Club organises bottom-up workshops and events that focus on the connection of queer people within the community. In this project, we guide and encourage mainly young queer people to shape their experiences as a queer person through artistic expression, creation and community. The combination of art, culture, dialogue, personal development and community are central. In this way we offer young people easy access to a social network that can support them in self-development and connecting to others through their queer identity. -
Project MemberT-Rex Project | Textile Recycling Excellence Aug 2022 - Apr 2023The T-REX Project brings together 12 major players from across the entire value chain to create a harmonised EU blueprint and business opportunities for closed loop sorting, and recycling of household textile waste. Transforming end-of-use textiles, from waste, into a desired feedstock, and a commodity for new business models that can be adopted at scale. Within T-REX, I have worked as a project member for Arapaha, where we collected and analysed data from across the value chain for sustainability assessments and digital solution recommendations. -
Digital Circularity ManagerArapaha Apr 2022 - Apr 2023At Arapaha I focussed on enhancing the digital structure of circularity. I led the initiatives on digital implementation of material and product passports, as well as digital tools to support circularity. Additionally, I mapped the ecosystem and identified data-gaps that need to be addressed to enable a fully circular value chain for textiles. -
