Installed a 3-axis 4' x 8' x 1' router from E-z Router running Mach 3 controller and Vectric toolpathing software. CNC was purchased used and came with no instructions or contact with the seller. Also did not include the original PC running it. Install included leveling and troubleshooting of all components both analog and digital. Research and contact with customer support resulted in the machine cutting useful and implemented jigs and molds within 4 days of access to the router.Programed and successfully operated more than 40 designs to re-make their current jigs and molds as well as develop new techniques.Trained another employee on the operation of the equipment including knowledge of feeds and speeds and 3d toolpathing techniques.

In charge of running and maintaining the wood, metal, plastic, 3d printing, CNC, laser cutting and photography labs apart of MSU's Industrial Design Program. Duties include maintaining a safe work environment for over 250 students enrolled in the program including demonstration of proper use of shop tools and equipment. Also act as an advanced manufacturing advisor and operator with experience regularly working with Ultimaker, Zortrax, Ender, Makerbot, Lulzbot, Form 2 & Stratasys 3D printers; along with Epilog laser cutters, Shopbot & Inventables 3 axis CNC routers and an Autometrix fabric cutter. Help students learn to design and make files for each manufacturing technique, modifying files in-front of students to help them learn how to submit proper files for each tool. Manage up to 10 work study students per semester, organizing schedules and training them on specific equipment. Teaching how to safely run a shop environment including how to properly and professionally correct a students technique while using tools. Created and taught the programs first VR lab experience implementing an Oculus Quest with Gravity Sketch.In charge of the research, bidding, purchase, implementation, documentation and maintenance of over $50k worth of digital fabrication equipment, shop tools, inventory and consumables every year. Design, install, maintain, and guide students through using the photo-studio to achieve professional product photography shots, along with being the "in house" videographer to document student exhibitions and work to be edited together for the creation of promotional material and assets.

Attended weekly production meetings to update director and stage manager on progress and problems. High level of rapid fabrication techniques used to create custom props, as well as reinforce or alter existing ones. I repaired more than 15 pieces in one week - everything from a slight chip in a seat, to completely taking apart and re-gluing an armchair.
